Would it be possible to use alcohol based markers on the joints first instead of dye? It should stain the plastic, then any paint that chips off would reveal a similar color. The brand Ohuhu makes a huge multipack with like 100 colors for pretty cheap. I don't know if that would work or not but I would be super interested to watch you try!

I love how all three dolls are clearly different ages. Like, Chi Chi is a rebellious 16 year old, Mai Tai is her older, early to mid 20s sister, and Margarita is their 40-something rich aunt taking them on a summer beach getaway while Chi Chi is on summer break. I love these three so much!
